KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
St. Oscar Romero Council #3291 Memorial Scholarship
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP: $1000.00
YEAR TO BE AWARDED: 2023-2024 School Year
SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Applicant must be a Catholic who worships at St. Oscar Romero Parish or whose father is a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Oscar Romero Council #3291 and worships at a Diocese of Pittsburgh Catholic Church.
2. Applicant must be a 2024 Graduating Senior from Canon McMillan High School.
3. Applicant to be enrolled in either a college, technical or vocational school for 2022.
4. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from Canon McMillan High School.
5. Applicant must have completed 30 hours or more of community service during their High School Career.
6. Applicant must have completed church involvement/service (ex. CCD aide, lector, choir member, Vacation Bible School volunteer, altar server, Fish Fry volunteer or Youth Group member). Church involvement/service must be verified by the Church Clergy prior to submitting the application.

This scholarship will be available through the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon McMillan Dollars for Scholars web site.
Students will be able to complete their applications between December 1st and March 15th at https://canonmcmillan.dollarsforscholars.org If you have any questions, contact the Canon McMillan HS Guidance Department.
