2020 John W. McDevitt Scholarship Winner
Maura O'Neill, daughter of Kevin and Jennifer O'Neill of Canonsburg, PA, is the recipient of the 2020 National Knights of Columbus John W. McDevitt (Fourth Degree) Scholarship.
The John W. McDevitt (Fourth Degree) Scholarship Fund was established in tribute to the 11th Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, John W. McDevitt, a distinguished educator during his career prior to becoming Deputy Supreme Knight and then Supreme Knight in 1964. The undergraduate scholarship award is $6,000.
Maura graduated with distinguished honors from Canon-McMillian High School in Canonsburg, PA. She will be attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA this coming fall to earn a BSN in nursing.
The O'Neill family are members of St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg, P.A. where Mr. O'Neill is a member of Bishop Hugh C Boyle #922 Assembly and Canonsburg, PA Council #3291.



The 2020 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship
The 2020 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship was held at JFK Gym on Sunday, February 16, 2020. The First place winners for Canonsburg Council #3291 were Amelia Brose and Quinn Paris.



2019 Knights of Columbus Soccer Contest.
Congratulations to Quinn Paris, daughter of Don Paris, on winning the West Regional soccer challenge. She will next compete at the State Championship.

Addison Hancq won the Knights of Columbus Council 3291 and District Free Throw Shooting Contest for the 13 year old age group in 2019.

2016 Knights of Columbus Council #3291 - St. Patrick School Essay Contest.
From Left to Right Rick Burke-Program Chairman, Makana Miller-1st Place winner, Jessica Newell-2nd Place Winner, Erin Egan-3rd Place Winner and John Serbak-Grand Knight. The students were asked to share a real life story of mercy that inspired them and what did that teach them about the need for mercy in our world today. This was inspired by the fact that Pope Francis declared this year the "The Year of Mercy."

2016 Free Thrown Contest
The council had its annual free throw contest at JFK Middle School in Washington, PA. The winners as shown in the picture from left to right.

Grand Knight John Serbak, 11 year old Kayla Brose, 10 year old Jack Lochran, 12 year old Connor Hyde, 14 year old Noah Lochran, Financial Secretary and District Deputy Bob Gorman

Connor and Noah were District winners as well. They will compete in the regional contest in Natrona Heights on March 5th.
